This historic restaurant was opened in 1885 and its interior has remained more or less the same evoking the elegant, civilised era of the Belle Époque. Dine on seasonal French cuisine like duck and lobster among marble columns, crystal chandeliers, gilt furniture and famous wall paintings. Although the exclusive location in the Krasnapolsky across the hall from the Winter Garden where Dutch royalty have celebrated their wedding feasts is impressive and perhaps a little intimidating, meals are surprisingly affordable.
