You can’t miss the huge sign for the ‘eating house’ on the corner, nor the beefeater logo a minute’s walk from the Van Gogh Museum. Decorated like a dark English pub, Small Talk fills up fast and its diners are packed together like sardines, so don’t expect a quiet, intimate dinner here. The menu lists what many would consider old school staples of gastronomy such as Dover sole, Wiener schnitzel, steaks and the like, but it’s large clientele of foreign tourists don’t seem to mind.
