Vibes is a pleasant exception to the rule that cocktail bars in Amsterdam have to be pretentious and expensive. Owner Marco has followed his own vision rather than using a snazzy advertising agency to shape his brainchild. The result is a colourful mix of modern and trendy styles and drinks for an average of about €6, which is cheap, by local standards anyway. The selection of almost 30 cocktails offers something for everyone, but we recommend the Good Vibes.
