Although wine is still considered a poor relative of beer in Dutch bars, this attitude has been slowly changing over the past few years. Here, however, at the stylish and trendy Vyne, that most ancient of alcoholic beverages takes centre stage and the warm interior is reason enough for a visit. One wall consists entirely of a lounge sofa, while the other side of this long narrow room is a large depository for thousands of bottles of wine. Running the length of the wine bar in the middle of the room is a table with space enough for you and 99 of your friends.
