Look up at the nearly unending choices of whisky on offer on the blackboard, take a deep breath and find your favourite scotch. The aptly named Whiskycafé has over 1500 different single malts, bourbons and sour mashes from around the world including famous highland spirits as well as drinks from obscure Japanese distilleries. Squeeze in around the central bar and ponder the possibilities, but don’t worry. You won’t get dirty looks from the staff if you order one of its excellent beers or wines. You can also attend one of its frequent tastings to learn more about quality whisky.
