One of the best ways to discover coastal waters without getting wet is with this submarine. Although you're given roughly 45 minutes of time to explore the sea bottom, the whole trip takes about 2.5 hours. This is largely due to the extensive security briefing that must be given before each tour. It's also a 15-minute boat ride to the submarine itself, which is located a few kilometres east of downtown Oranjestad. When you finally enter the submarine two long rows of seats are at your disposal and everyone sits back to back, so you don't have to worry about someone ruining your view. The captain also turns the boat around roughly every 5 minutes, so everyone can see the same shipwrecks, if not the same marine life that sometimes refuse to cooperate with the tour.
