You’ll find one of the busiest ice cream parlours on the island ideally located in the heart of the main street. Its small covered terrace with only a few benches and some loose seats is one of the best places to people watch in Kralendijk. Decorated with a dozen black chandeliers and a fancy mirror, Gio’s certainly doesn't lack charm. With a selection of 24 different flavours, even the fussiest of eaters will be satisfied. The sweet honey-melon would have to be our favourite, but locals rave about the strawberry and yoghurt options. As aficionados of certain adult beverages, we couldn’t resist the whisky cream. Tea lovers won't be disappointed with the selection either but you'll probably need a manual to figure out how the machine works.
