Rumba Cafe

The promenade of Kralendijk is home to dozens of establishments serving fine food and drink, but none offer as much value for money as Rumba Cafe. One of the better places to watch a Bonaire sunset, it's often overlooked due to its small size, but its location near the cruise ship harbour ensures a steady flow of tourists. With great views of the sea and a shopping street, this is also a popular spot for people watching. Order an American breakfast, delicious crab cakes or try the chivito al plato a Uruguayan meat dish that people can't seem to get enough of. Rumba has recently expanded to include a pizza place and although the food is quite good, we also like to drop by for a cheap Polar ($2), wonderful Pina Coladas or a Heineken draught, a scarce commodity in Bonaire.
