Don’t be afraid to ask for things that might not be on the menu, as the waiters seem happy to experiment when and where they can, but the quality of the classics means such things shouldn’t be necessary. There is enough whisky, rum and the rest to fuel a small city, maybe even a certain English capital in the years after World War I.
