The majority of Brno is more than accessible by foot, but sometimes a taxi is required. The usual common sense applies; be sure that the meter is on and running, and try to avoid the ones loitering outside the train and bus stations. Your hotel or hostel will be happy to book a taxi for you, and will have a preferred company to use.
