A very popular destination for Bulgarians, this small seaside town, 60km south of Burgas is a little bit like ‘Sofia by the sea’ – with many Sofia-based bars and restaurants relocating here for the summer and many Sofianites choosing to have a summer home here. Although some of the original charm has been lost this is definitely a Bulgarian resort and as such makes a refreshing change from the purely tourist resorts. The beach area is particularly popular for all water sports but in particular wind surfing and sailing.
