In the heart of the Balkan Mountains, in front of the iconic Buzludzha monument, the fifth edition of the OPEN BUZLUDZHA festival will be held from 15th - 17th August, 2025. The event is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Buzludzha Project Foundation. Admission is free!
The daily program is more creative and inspiring than ever.
A rich program has been prepared for children and adults, which includes creative workshops, interactive thematic games, historical tours and mountain walks dedicated to the future of Buzludzha. For the first time, screenings from the "Unwritten Stories" campaign will be presented, as well as a quiz that will introduce visitors to the secrets of the region.
During the festival, Buzludzha will once again be decorated – during the day the largest kites in Bulgaria will fill the skies above the monument and at night the facade of the monument will be illuminated by an impressive 3D mapping show; Friday and Saturday from 21:00, 22:00, 00:00, 2:00
The audience will be transported to an impressive world of light and sound!
This year, for the first time, the monumental stage in front of the monument will welcome musical bands, combining live concerts with a mapping spectacle.
