The largest mall in the region opened in November 2018, towards the eastern outskirts of the city. It was named Plovdiv Plaza by popular vote of the local residents. With three floors of shopping, including many popular European chains it offers all the conveniences of a mall in a brand new state of the art setting. There is a strong emphasis on providing regular family entertainment, with a central arena and large LED screen, making this an attractive venue any time of the year.
