Just a 10 minute drive from Cagliari and you can immerge yourself in rural life and sample delicious home-cooking. This educational farm allows visitors to experience traditional country life first hand and has a policy of zero-km, meaning only home grown ingredients and meat from the farm is used. Eliana will propose a delicious seasonal menu for lunch or dinner and vegetarians are welcome. The farm specialities are panada (meat or vegetable pie), roast suckling pig and for dessert seadas (fried cheese pastries with honey) and typical Sardinian biscuits. Book in advance for a guided tour of the farm before your meal and why not request a workshop to make cheese, pasta, bread and even milk cows to complete your visit!
