The name of this two-day festival, Curacao North Sea Jazz, doesn't do justice to its impressive world-class line-up. The first festivals hosted an incredible array of international talent from a variety of genres including R&B, African music, pop and Latin. Music lovers from across the globe sold out every hotel on the island, making it Curacao's biggest money-maker. Thankfully, the atmosphere is still laid-back and relaxed, but at the same time very professional. Headliners have included Lionel Richie, Alicia Keys, Carlos Santana, Prince and Beyonce. Naturally, most of these stars extend their stay to enjoy some time on the beach.
