Named after the key figure in the Hungarian literary Enlightenment, Csokonai is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Debrecen. The cellar location simply oozes class, and the menu comes with a handy set of pictures for those whose Hungarian skills are somewhat lacking. The cuisine is largely contemporary fare, enhanced by an excellent wine list and faultless service.
