Banu Church (Biserica Banu) was built during the reign of Vasile Lupu in the Baroque style, used throughout the region, and it is different to other churches in the area by the fact that services have been held in Romanian by Romanian priests ever since its opening, partly as a form of protest against the Russian Empire.
