Moldova Philharmonic Orchestra

  29 Strada Cuza Voda      (+4) 0232 212 509     more than a year ago

At first the Moldova Philharmonic Orchestra (Filarmonica de Stat "Moldova") building was only a house, built by Alexandru Bals, but later Monsignor Salandarie enlarged the building, added a big extension, and the place became a home for the Catholic Institute. Nowadays, the old section is now the George Enescu Conservatoire, and the new part is the Phillarmonic of Moldova, where Franz Liszt himself played on January 18th 1847.
