Kids' Town (Città dei Bambini)

Since it opened in 1997 Città dei Bambini has been a great hit with both children and parents alike. It’s a sort of hands-on exploration centre with games and activities based on scientific and technological experiments. It offers fun, well equipped, well organised didactic spaces to children of different ages, letting them move freely and play as they please without being restricted to the various areas. The 2-3 year olds can explore an enchanted forest, for the 3 to 5s there are water and bubble games, mirror games and a real building site. Favourites for the 6 to 12s include a digital climbing wall, making colour shadows and light energy and an anthill simulation. There are lots of benches for all you tired parents to sit and watch: you’ll be exhausted… and hopefully so will they! All activities are suitable for non-Italian speakers. A really valid rainy day option!
