Gallerie d'Italia - Piazza Scala

This modern and contemporary museum is fittingly displayed in the rooms of the exquisite 18th-19th century Palazzo Anguissola and Palazzo Brentani. 197 works from the 19th century from the Fondazione Cariplo and Intesa Sanpaolo collections can be perused in an exhibition entitled From Canova to Boccioni, and the newest section within Palazzo della Banca Commerciale Italiana, Cantiere del ’900, contains 189 art works from the Italian post-World War II period.
