Appian Way

The Appian Way was one of the most important roads in ancient Rome, connecting the city to southern Italy. It was originally intended for trade and providing an easier transportation network for the army. Made of large, flat stones, the road is well-preserved. So, why not go for a walk along the Appian Way to relax and walk in the footsteps of the greatest Roman emperors?
