Wavertree Botanic Garden

  Edge Ln      +44 151 233 3000     more than a year ago
You can’t beat an English garden, and Wavertree Botanic Gardens are one of the finest examples in Liverpool. A luxurious piece of 19th century public space, the park actually underwent its own piece of misery during World War II, when a German bomb demolished much of the plant life inside. The botanic gardens have since been restored and are now a fine place for a summertime stroll in the city.
