Conveniently located in the Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli, the Natural History Museum is a great stop for families visiting Milan. Divided into five different sections: Mineralogy; Paleontology; Natural History of Man; Invertebrate Zoology; and Vertebrate Zoology; the museum also houses a sizeable collection of life-sized dioramas depicting ecosystems that are bound to fascinate children. Don’t miss the spectacular European debut of Spinosaurus: Lost Giant of the Cretaceous showing now through mid-January at the recently reopened Palazzo Dugnani, the original site of the Natural History Museum located nearby in the public gardens.
