Located on the first floor of the 18th century Palazzo Morando Attendolo Bolognini, this compact museum is alive with the private collection of the Countess Bolognini, featuring porcelain, sculptures, and other pieces displayed in what were once her private apartments. They now also house a section of the city's civic art, as well as Luigi Beretta's collection, which he donated in 1935. The paintings shown in this museum have helped historians understand the layout of Milan as it was during the Napoleonic era and under Austrian rule, and map the urban development since then.
