This legendary Amsterdam club is about as long as a train car, but perhaps even narrower. You’ll definitely have to make some physical contact with other music enthusiasts to get to the stage where live jazz, funk or salsa acts perform every night in front of a packed crowd of hipsters, locals and foreigners in the know. It’s dark the way a jazz club should be and has something of a clandestine speakeasy feel to it. There’s no cover charge, but even simple drinks like a Jack and Coke can set you back dearly.
