Located on a busy intersection in the heart of the Jordaan, this classic café is always alive with the din of happy locals sipping wine, beer and cocktails. Although a great pit stop for a drink, Sonneveld also serves good food from breakfasts and sandwiches to steaks and even seafood. The huge wooden bar nearly separates the café in two so you can sit in the sunny area or in the slightly darker section on the other side. Naturally, in summer a seat outside is your best bet.
