De Kuip is Rotterdam's legendary football stadium, which has hosted gigs by some of the greatest bands that ever existed, so it's no surprise that this De Kuip is also dedicated to rock and blues music as well as sports. The walls and even the ceiling are covered with classic posters, albums and other rock memorabilia and you'll find a billiard table in the back as well as a big screen upon which football matches are often projected. Naturally, a stage is one of the bar's main features as live music is part and parcel of the experience here. Although we much preferred one of the eight draught beers, this brown bar is also a good place to taste the locally produced spirit Jutter.
