Mentally challenged people are the driving force behind De Windroos, a popular local institution where people with disabilities show off their skills. The result is an astonishing collection of art from colourful paintings, handmade candles and wooden toys to painted silk and even sturdy furniture. You can also enjoy a good selection of coffee and tea here or a freshly made tosti (toasted sandwich), the soup of the day or the week's special cake. Even if you're not hungry, the view of the surrounding fields populated by chickens, pigs and sheep can't be beat.
