Hidden behind a flower shop and well camouflaged by a semi-forest of trees and plants, the terrace of Edel feels like a green oasis amid an urban jungle. There are few terraces in Amsterdam that can beat the view of two quiet canals and the rickety furniture somehow adds to the charm. If the Dutch weather prevents you from enjoying the great outdoors, and chances are great that this will be the case, the structure attached to the terrace offers excellent dining opportunities. The clientele mostly consists of hipster types, which probably has something to do with the retro design and the possibility of arriving at the restaurant by boat.
