Zandvoort’s tiny central square has no less than four snackbars. Apparently the locals really love their fried food. This friendly little snackbar has been serving hungry locals and tourists since 1947 and today customers keep queueing up for deep fried treats made in an authentic manner. Fritures d’Anvers specialises in Belgian fries and they do it very well. We couldn’t get enough of its delicious frites, but you'll probably have to order more than just one if you want to be truly satisfied as the portions are on the small side.
