We're not sure whether XO refers to extra old cognac or tic-tac-toe, but to our mind Grand Café XO represents a professionally managed hospitality factory. During the day both the terrace on Haarlem’s Grote Markt and the stylish red and black interior see a constant flow of visitors dropping by for lunch or a chat over a cup of coffee. In the evening the sandwiches and java are replaced by steaks, pastas and tapas and at night the chairs are pushed aside to make room for Club XO. A DJ usually performs on Friday and Saturday nights.
