Its location at a somewhat depressing local shopping centre at the terminus of tramline 13 is, to put it mildly, not the best. However, if you are one of those people who can't get enough fish and chips, it's probably worth making the journey to Haringhandel Hans. Inside you'll find typically Dutch seafood snacks like herring, lekkerbek (fried hake) and kibbeling (fried cod) as well as fresh fish. The walls are covered with large educational posters listing all of the species of North Sea fish, so you can learn about the unfortunate creature you ordered before you pop him into your mouth.
