La Festa

Even though this Italian restaurant in the heart of the Jordaan is charmingly decorated with Federico Fellini film posters, the pizzas and pastas are in no way Felliniesque. We’re not saying the food is bad, but some of the dishes, pastas in particular, simply lack imagination. On the other hand, if a reasonably priced yet decent pizza is all you’re looking for, La Festa is a good choice. The restaurant's employees are friendly, not unlike the local folks from the neighbourhood who seem to enjoy the restaurant’s pleasant atmosphere. If you've had too much wine with dinner, the B&B upstairs is a superb place to spend the night.
