Poffertjes Stand

An English translation of poffertjes on the stand reveals that this pancake shop is more popular with tourists than locals. Despite the 'for-foreigners' prices, the small pancakes are prepared as they should be and in our local opinion it's a good place to try an authentic Dutch speciality. Don't forget to ask for powdered sugar and butter to make the poffertjes even tastier. You can also order waffles with toppings here, but we can't give you an exact address for the stand as it's mobile. The stand is usually parked in front of restaurant De Lunch on Volendam’s harbour boulevard and usually open until about 18:00.
