Scala della Pasta

More of a takeaway place than a sit-down restaurant, Scala della Pasta offers a few small tables that are always occupied, but you can always eat in the Vondelpark just around the corner. The thin pizzas with toppings galore, the delicious bean salad, the enormous tuna sandwich and the home-made ice cream are expertly wrapped up by the staff, who, sadly, always seem to look as if they're dog just died. Only fresh ingredients are used, hence the price, but the affluent people in the neighbourhood don't seem to mind.
