El Faro Blanco

Without a shadow of a doubt we're happy to claim that La Trattoria El Faro Blanco offers the best sunset views on Aruba. Its setting on top of a hill next to the famous California Lighthouse landmark ensures views in all directions. Unfortunately, the food at this Italian eatery is less spectacular, but even so it's still a solid choice for dining. Skip the pizzas, lasagna and dessert from the extensive, but predictable menu and try any of the appetisers, tasty salads and also the clams, which are the chef's best offerings. But the real treat is the view, which is best seen from the patio. Friendly and attentive service is also a bonus, but most of the wines are served at room temperature, so you'd better stick with the beer if you want to cool down.
