Palm Beach isn't our favourite stretch of sand on Aruba. Often overcrowded and full of big hotels, it's touristy nature can sometimes get on our nerves. Luckily, Moomba Beach is located in the area near the Marriott. This hidden piece of paradise is home to an outdoor restaurant and bar named after the beach, where you can have a great lunch or dinner while burying your toes in the warm white sand. Cheap steaks, fresh grouper and fantastic coconut shrimp are but a few excellent options on its extensive menu. That said, we can never resist the thick and creamy fish chowder. Service isn't what we would call speedy as the staff also seem distracted by the beautiful views, but this is a wonderful place where you'll want to linger. Live music at the weekend.
