Some call it tacky, but we prefer the word kitschy when describing the interior of the Buccaneer, which is a wonderful homage to everything nautical. Statues of dangerous looking pirates and friendly dolphins welcome diners 'aboard' this seafood restaurant that has been an Aruban landmark for over 30 years. Massive aquariums filled with fish line the seating areas and the two biggest water tanks in the back are home to sharks, which are guaranteed entertainment. Despite its over-the-top interior, the delicious and affordable seafood is the real reason this place is packed most nights. Start with the escargot and move on to the catch of the day or pretty much any sea creature on the menu. Drinks are served in metal goblets so you can feel like you're an extra on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean.
