Karel's Beach bar

Counting the number of bars along Bonaire's oceanfront is about as daunting as counting grains of sand on it's beaches. However, Karel's Beach Bar is among our favourite places to watch the sunset or just to enjoy a casual drink by the water. Although this family-owned operation has been serving patrons since 1929, this particular beach bar has been around for a couple of decades. If you're looking for a more lively night out you might give it a go on Wednesday evenings when both young and old sing karaoke.
