Even after several visits, we still can't decide how to label this informal open-air garden restaurant. Is it Mexican or perhaps a tapas restaurant? The truth, as usual, is probably somewhere in the middle. In any event, you'll no doubt be impressed by the staff, especially the ‘wild looking’ chef in charge of the grill and Oscar the Oysterman. We also appreciated that most of the offerings on the small, yet impressive wine list could be ordered by the glass. Stop by La Cantina for lunch on any day or on Friday’s for its fish market, when special deals are presented during a spectacular cook-off.
