We only need five words to describe this amazing place: best lodging on the island. That is, at least, if you enjoy cosy, comfortable bungalows, personal service and great natural surroundings. The casual atmosphere and its wide range of local creatures including dogs, cats, donkeys, iguanas, parrots and small lizards made us feel like we were dropped into the Caribbean version of Charlotte's Web. And since the complex is only two years old, all the cabins are state-of-the-art and fully equipped with all the modern amenities you might need during a stay on a tropical island. We especially loved the way that driftwood has been recycled in both aesthetic and functional ways. Mondi Lodge is also eco-friendly and even uses solar energy.
