Trolley Train Tour

If you've already had enough time on your feet under the hot Caribbean sun or you'd like to entertain your offspring then the Trolley Train Tour of Willemstad might be a good option. Along the way you'll see all the usual landmarks of the town's two major downtown districts, Punda and Otrabanda. The trolley also stops at the unattractive and unremarkable Pietermaai Cathedral. Although the train is appears to be popular with cruise ship passengers, the tour is essentially an expensive tourist trap. The guides are its only redeeming feature as they seemed genuinely friendly, chatty, professional and knowledgeable. If you still want to board the trolley after this less than stellar review make sure that you don’t end up in the two back seats that face the rear.
