To the uninitiated The Bear Pit's terrain will seem more like a dismal Eastern European car park than a Dutch campsite. Few tourists will be encouraged by the fact that it can't be reached by phone, it has never had a real website or by the fact that the toilet facilities are reminiscent of Thai beaches right after the Tsunami. Furthermore the antisocial 'residents' of this campground even use its environs as a public race course in the middle of the night. In case you haven't it figure it out yet we wouldn't stay here if you paid us.
