Because Indonesia was a former Dutch colony, Indonesian restaurants can be found in nearly every town and village in Holland as well as major cities such as Utrecht. Although you probably shouldn't visit Djakarta to experience anything resembling attractive interior design, the food here is excellent and incredibly affordable. Try the homemade satay, which is Djakarta’s speciality.
