Ele is a Spanish tapas restaurant located in one of the many wharf cellars on the Oudegracht. The dishes are reasonably priced and tasty, especially for garlic lovers, and if you're lucky you might even catch a guitarist playing classic Spanish music. Although miscommunications can occur with the Spanish speaking staff from time to time, they're an extremely friendly bunch. Reservations are recommended even though they always seem to succeed in seating more people than you would think physically possible.
