It’s hard to miss this café, bar and club. Just look for the brick building on the Jankerkhof with the giant ‘Hofman’ sign that changes colour. Inside the red wallpaper and curtains behind the stage and the Venetian-style glass chandeliers lend the place a certain boudoir quality, while the long granite bar adds a touch of elegance. Foreign and local youngsters come here for live concerts on a small scale as well as DJs, but during the day you can pop in for a good craft brew and huge servings of international fare, which include the usual suspects: sandwiches, uitsmijter, satay and steak. It also provides a large terrace in summer and a big flat screen for sports.
