Although highly commercialised, this friendly place is run by local farmers. For more than 35 years the Van Wolfswinkel family has produced delicious cheese and butter here. The whole process is presented in a simple, yet clear way to visitors using modern technology. It does, however, get a bit tacky with all the supposedly authentic country lanes and life-size dolls with clogs on. But overall, there aren't many places in Holland where you can experience a 'typical' rural setting and a decidedly Dutch activity like cheese tasting.
