Inside you'll see an interior reminiscent of a second hand shop, in the background you hear alternative music coming from dusty speakers and the vegan day menu is scrawled across a blackboard by the bar. Four times a week, at the centre of the Utrecht squatter’s scene, the Kitchen Punx crew serves a tasty daily dish, like tapas or a lentil curry, prepared with grains, soy and fresh vegetables. ACU is not for profit and is run by volunteers. This has the added benefit of relatively low prices for tasty food and drink.
