A rotating menu with community engagement is not the only hip item in Meneer Smakers. This latest addition to the Utrecht Hamburgermarket made a splashing performance on us. The interior might be a low scale version of the 1950's American Dinner Theme, the food is definitely reason enough to come here, although the menu is limited to... fries and burgers. But calling it just a burger wouldn't do justice to this place of hipsters, the creation of these two junk items is pulled here to a higher level. Its by far the best burger we ever had our eyes (and teeth) on for the last decade. Imagine fresh baked rolls, a choice of grilled vegetables and hand rolled beef, salmon, lamb, vegetarian or chicken burgers and we bet your already down there...
