Although sports taverns aren't usually our favourite haunts, we'll gladly make an exception for Grand Cafe Aquarant. As the name suggests, this cosy, tastefully decorated pub goes well out of its way to please its customers. In addition to a stylish central bar and enough seating areas to accommodate all of teams that swim in the attached Ottenbad pool, this is also a good, cheap place to eat if you don't require anything fancy. The spacious, comfortable outdoor area is yet another crowd pleaser.
